ALMAMET Romania was founded already in 2005 and relocated to its own land in Târnăveni in 2015, which is still the location today. The site has more than 20 years of experience in producing and supplying high-quality Lime blends with additives, Calcium Carbide and in Magnesium-Recycling.

Today, ALMAMET SRL Romania is the largest Service Center with the most employees and the most products in the ALMAMET International Group in Europe. Thus, it thus offers an exceptionally wide range of products combined with an efficient logistics center.

Our site in Romania is one of several locations within the ALMAMET International Group where Magnesium can also be recycled. ALMAMET SRL Romania, thus makes an important contribution to the reduction of emissions in the production and processing of Magnesium. Thus, it is not only possible to find a contribution to the use of scrap, but also producing a high-performance product for the Desulfurization of hot metal without any loss of performance.

This benefits the steel industry directly: Compared to primary Magnesium, the significantly reduced Carbon Footprint of secondary Magnesium makes it possible to produce desulfurizing reagents with a substantially lower Carbon Footprint. Each batch is strictly tested for its quality to avoid any impurities and to continuously supply the same high-quality produced, which is produced with primary Magnesium.
