More than 20 years of growth
What began with a first representation in Baotou in 2003 has now grown into more than 20 years of experience for the ALMAMET International Group in China. Since 2005, there has been already an ALMAMET office, which is located in Beijing.
ALMAMET Shanxi
Due to necessary capacity expansions in the Magnesium processing, a completely new production facility has been started in Shanxi in 2023. It is the facility that can process the largest production volume within the ALMAMET International Group and where Magnesium is transformed into high-quality chips and granules for the world markets.
Especially: Decades of experience from all the ALMAMET production facilities worldwide have been incorporated into the location and its installed systems. The SHANXI production has been fully in operation since 2025 and is one of the biggest investments in the history of ALMAMET.
More than tens MT of Magnesium are processed annually in Shanxi and which is shipped towards Europe and other parts of the world.
