AIPL was founded in 2012 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the ALMAMET International Group. In addition to operating lime grinding and blending facilities, ALMAMET India reached a major milestone in 2019 by launching India’s first Desulfurization-as-a-Service solution for a HMDS installation (2 × 250 MT Twin Hot Metal Desulfurization System).

Through its “Desulfurization-as-a-Service” approach, ALMAMET India is able to meet a wide range of customer requirements by offering flexible, fully managed solutions for hot metal desulfurization. Today, the company is present at several steel plants across India, providing long-term Desulfurization-as-a-Service support.

Commercial and technical consulting activities for the Indian market are primarily coordinated from the company’s offices in Noida and Kolkata.
